Juventus are unlikely to complete the signing of Wesley Sneijder after Galatasaray coach Hamza Hamzaoglu insisted he is staying in Turkey..

The 30-year-old is thought to want to leave Gala after months of unpaid wages, while it is said the Turkish side want rid of his high salary. Meanwhile, Juve coach Massimiliano Allegri has said he would like to bring Sneijder to Turin.

“Sneijder is one of our most important players,” Hamzaoglu told Sky Sport Italia.

“He will remain with us, and this is a decision I am very pleased about, I am sure it will bring a positive effect on to the team.”

Sneijder joined Galatasaray from Inter in the 2013 January transfer window for €7.5 million and has made 55 appearances in the Turkish league with 18 goals, and has also been linked to English side Manchester United in the transfer window.
