Palermo’s president Maurizio Zamparini has claimed that he has rejected a transfer approach by Manchester United for 21-year-old striker Paulo Dybala.

United are looking for a replacement for Radamel Falcao, who has disappointed during the 2014-15 season, and will likely to return to his parent club Monaco.

According to The Guardian, Zamparini has already rejected an offer from United, and has set the asking price for Dybala at €40 million, though Zamparini will not consider selling the Argentinian until the summer.

Palermo signed Dybala from the Argentinian club Instituto and he has scored nine goals and six assists during the current Serie A season.
