Palermo defender Ezequiel Munoz can join Roma during the January transfer window.
The Argentine center back has refused to sign an extension on a contract that expires at the end of this season and will be leaving the Rosanero.
According to the Daily Mirror in order to avoid letting the defender leave for free, Palermo are looking to sell him during the January transfer window.
Roma are the club leading for Munoz’s signature but the Giallorossi will have to see off competition from Tottenham Hotspur, Spartak Moscow and Napoli.
Munoz might make his final appearance for Palermo, when league high fliers Sampdoria host them at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris on Sunday.
