Lazio holding midfielder Lucas Biglia is being targeted by French giants Paris St. Germain, as they look to bolster their squad during the January transfer window.

The wealthy Paris club hope the Argentine can provide depth to their central midfield, should they lose Yohan Cabaye, who is angling for a move back to the English Premier League in order to find more playing time.

According to La Repubblica, the Ligue 1 side want another physically strong player to share the workload of central midfielders Blaise Matuidi and Thiago Motta.

The report suggests that PSG are willing to pay Lazio €15 million for the player’s services, but the Roman club are holding out for an offer in the region of €30 million.

Biglia has made 36 appearances for the Biancocelesti since joining during the 2013 Summer transfer window.
