Roma defender Urby Emanuelson is reportedly considering a move to Atalanta before the end of the January transfer window.
The 28-year-old has failed to receive an ample amount of playing time in the Giallorossi squad this season thus far and may be open to making his exit from the capital city club in the coming weeks, with the Orobici being seen as the favourites to land him.
According to SportItalia, Atalanta are already close to finalising a deal with Roma for the Dutchman’s services, though the left-back is still yet to decide whether he wants to accept a transfer to La Dea or not.
Reports also suggest that the former AC Milan man may be exploring his other options, as Genoa have also recently expressed their interest in signing him this winter.
Emanuelson, whose current contract with Roma is set to expire in June, has made just two Serie A appearances for the Lupi this term.
