Roma utility man Urby Emanuelson is closing in on a move to Atalanta this month.
The 28-year-old Dutch international only moved to the capital from AC Milan this past summer, but looks certain to leave the club in the coming weeks due to a lack of game-time.
Sport Italia report that Emanuelson has once again reiterated his will to leave Roma, and is keen to move to Atalanta for the remainder of his contract which runs out at the end of the season.
Developments are expected to accelerate early this week, with the player likely to be allowed to leave the club.
The Dutchman has only played 15 minutes for the Giallorossi this campaign, making only two substitute appearances.
