Roma striker Mattia Destro is seeking a loan move to Fiorentina as he struggles to break into Rudi Garcia’s team.
Destro has been used sparingly this season despite having the best minutes to goal ratio in the Serie A last season and 13 goals from 20 appearances but he has been forced to settle for a bit part role with Francesco Totti occupying the central spot in the Giallorossi’s 4-3-3 formation.
According to Sportsmediaset, Destro is considering a loan switch to Fiorentina to get regular playing time.
The relationship between the Rome based club and the Florence side is considered to be good and there should not be many hurdles to jump if all parties are willing to do a deal.
Roma return to action after the Christmas break on January 6 against Udinese at Stadio Friuli and Destro would most likely have to settle for a place on the bench.
