The rumored move of Wesley Sneijder to Italian heavyweights Juventus is increasingly unlikely, as the Dutch player’s club has refused to allow him to leave.

Istanbul side Galatasaray are adamant the former Inter play-maker is to remain with them in Turkey and the chances of a transfer are now almost certainly none.

‘It’s nearly impossible to bring Sneijder to Turin, I can’t see it happening,” confirmed agent Guido Albers to Tuttosport. “The Galatasaray officials have been perfectly clear with me. He would have been happy to return to Italy but only if the club had wanted to sell.”

The 30-year-old attacking midfielder moved to Turkey from Inter in 2013, after having spent four years with the Nerazzurri and winning the Champions League trophy in 2010.
