Dutchman Wesley Sneider’s agent has confirmed Juventus interest and has said that the player would be happy to return to Serie A provided an agreement is reached.

The Galatasaray midfielder has been consistently linked to Juventus in the recent past, coach Massimilano Allegri had earlier confirmed his interest, describing the player as “a feasible luxury”.

Juventus director general Beppe Marota, having recently submitted a revised bid of €5 million for the player, had stated that they will only talk for the player on their own terms.

Recent reports from Gazzetta dello Sport suggest that negotiations for the player is set to start with Juventus now becoming flexible, despite statement’s made by Beppe Marota earlier, and are reportedly ready to offer €6-7 million for the former Inter player.

Guido Albers, the Dutchman’s agent, has said to Dutch publication De Telegraaf: “Juventus wants Sneijder. But only when the two clubs have an agreement will the hypothesis of coming back to Italy be considered.

“Until then he is going to concentrate on Galatasaray only. If there is a transfer, he would be happy to return to Serie A, where he won his greatest victories.”

Premier League’s Manchester United, Manchester City and Southampton are the other clubs rumored to interested in the player.
