Torino are reportedly looking to secure talented AC Milan forward Stephan El Shaarawy before the end of the January transfer window.

The 22-year-old, whose current contract with the Rossoneri is set to expire in June 2018, has been linked with a number of clubs as of late including Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United, but it seems like the inconsistent Granata are ready to enter the race for his signature as they look to bolster their attack this winter.

According to Tuttosport, the Italian international may lose his spot in Pippo Inzaghi’s squad due to the recent arrival of Alessio Cerci and the possible signing of Mattia Destro in the coming weeks, which means AC Milan might be willing to sell the winger to Torino for a fee of around €15 million.

Reports suggest that Il Toro would be pushing to land the former Genoa youngster on loan for the remainder of the season with the right to permanently buy him at the end of the campaign.

El Shaarawy has scored one goal and provided three assists in his 13 Serie A appearances for the Diavolo this term thus far.

Torino will face off with Milan in Turin on Saturday.
