AC Milan are seriously considering the option to build a new stadium and have released initial photos and a video of what they hope could become their new home.

Club director Barabara Berlusconi has been a strong advocate for a new ground and plans have already been put forward, with a recreated model now made available for fans to enjoy.

Early indications suggest the ground will be heavily influenced by those in England, with seating pushed as close as possible to the pitch. The futuristic stadium is expected to be ‘green’, in terms of environmental impact, two tier and with a capacity for 48, 000 fans.

Sponsors will be expected to cover the cost and an initial decision regarding a go-ahead could come as early as March 10th.

Should this happen the Rossoneri will leave the historic San Siro, which they currently share with city rivals Inter.
