Former Parma striker Antonio Cassano has rejected an offer from English Premier League club Queen Park Rangers because he is waiting for deal to be done with Inter.

The 32-year-old is now a free agent after he had his contracted terminated by Parma and he is hoping that he can return to the club he played for in the 2012-13 season.

According to Sportitalia, Cassano has rejected QPR in the hope that his agent can strike a deal with Inter on Monday and it was also reported that Nerazzurri coach Roberto Mancini wants the player at his disposal soon.

If an agreement cannot be struck between the two parties, Cassano might play in Serie B instead and return to his first club Bari, where he made his Serie A debut in 1999.

Cassano scored nine goals in 39 appearances in his first stint at Inter, including seven goals in 28 league matches in 2012-13 under Andrea Stramaccioni.
