Samuel Eto’o will train as scheduled on Tuesday, only a day after he refused to take part in an extra training session following Sampdoria embarrassing 5-1 defeat to Torino on Sunday.

That incident led to a massive argument with Blucerchiati coach Sinisa Mihajlovic and put the four time African Player of the Year’s Sampdoria future in doubt, with reports claiming that the Cameroonian could terminate his contract with the port club, only a week after he joined them from Everton.

Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero has spent the rest of the day trying to play down the row, and now Sky Sport Italia understands that Eto’o will attend Tuesday’s training session at the club’s Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini training ground as normal.

Mihajlovic has already expressed his disappointment at the perceived lack of respect shown by his side’s new signing.
