On-loan Fiorentina defender Micah Richards says he is only focused on his current club, and not paying attention to reported interest from Inter.
The 26-year-old English international is currently on loan from Manchester City, but has struggled for regular football due to injury this season.
He started and played the full 90 minutes in the 3-1 win over Sassuolo on Saturday evening however, and hopes to carry over that form in the coming weeks.
“Inter’s interest in January? I was only concentrating on Fiorentina, but I would like to play more,” Richards told Sky Sport Italia after the game.
“The upcoming [Europa League] game against Tottenham? It’s always nice to come home, they are playing well and are a good team, but so are we.
“We expect a difficult test, and we have to stay focused. It’s a chance to make a good impression.”
