Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade has admitted he is embarrassed by comments made by Lazio president Claudio Lotito.
Lotito has been at the centre of controversy after leaked phone-calls allegedly show him claiming to wield power over governing bodies.
“There is not much to say,” Prade told reporters following Fiorentina’s 3-1 win at Sassuolo in Serie A.
“This will be discussed with the Della Valle’s later for how it concerns Fiorentina.
“Speaking for myself, I will tell you that I feel a strong sense of embarrassment because these are situations that hurt the system.
“I have worked for 30 years in this work and I continue to do it because of my passion.”
Lotito has also been criticised by Roma president James Pallotta and Serie B leaders Carpi following the incident.
