Fiorentina are keen on Atalanta 22-year-old Daniele Baselli, but have had a bid refused by La Dea.
The Italian Under-21 midfielder is reportedly also a target for AC Milan, who looked set to seal a deal for the player earlier on Monday.
However, La Viola did make contact with Atalanta over the possibility of an immediate transfer, with the Rossoneri looking at a loan with option deal, but now it seems Baselli will remain in Bergamo for the foreseeable future.
A product of Atalanta’s youth academy, Baselli has made 42 Serie A appearances so far.
