Roma coach Rudi Garcia was involved in a confrontation with some fans after the game at Hellas Verona on Sunday.
The Giallorossi drew 1-1, falling nine points adrift of Juventus in the rankings. Roma also failed to win on home turf since November.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, a group of fans was waiting for the team at Trigoria. The newspaper states that Garcia told the fans he doesn’t give up and assured he wants to stay at Roma beyond this season.
An insulting banner was already waiting Roma’s players as they arrived at training. ‘Shame on you. You’re pathetic!’ was the message.
The meeting between coach and fans lasted only a few minutes.
