English Premier League strugglers Queens Park Rangers are said to be in the hunt for Inter’s on-loan striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo.

Osvaldo became surplus to requirements following an on-field spat with team-mate Mauro Icardi during the 1-1 draw with Juventus in early January.

Sky Sport Italia say his choices have been limited due to the Bianconeri’s decision to opt for Alessandro Matri as their new forward, hence it leaves a switch back to England as his only realistic hope of leaving Inter in the final few hours of the winter transfer window.

The very public disagreement with Icardi was the latest in a long line of misdemeanours by the 29-year-old, who was previously shipped out by Southampton after a nasty training ground bust-up which left defender Jose Fonte battered and bruised.

Saints still own the player’s registration, but there’s no chance of him returning to St. Mary’s after the controversial circumstances in which he initially left for a short spell at Juventus last term and then Inter at the beginning of this campaign.
