Inter coach Roberto Mancini has complimented the Nerazzurri’s Primavera side after their recent victory to reach the final of the Viareggio Cup.

The Nerazzurri defeated Roma 4-0 in the semi-finals of the Viareggio Cup, and will square off against Hellas Verona in the final of the competition that highlights Italian youth squads and several other younger sides from around the world.

“#PrimaveraInter in final of the @CGCViareggioCup. Well done boys and Mister Vecchi!,” the 50-year-old coach tweeted.

The Inter squad, coached by Stefano Vecchi, play the Gialloblu in the final of the tournament on February 16 at 15:00 CET at the Arena Garibaldi-Romeo Anconetani in Pisa.

Inter’s Primavera have won the Viareggio Cup six times, most recently in 2011, while Hellas Verona are in their first final after defeating Fiorentina 2-1 in the other semi-final.
