Inter’s flying full-back Jonathan will miss the rest of the season after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his left knee.
The 28-year-old has seen his campaign hampered by persistent knee complaints and decided that the best course of action was to have an operation on his troublesome joint.
According Tuttomercatoweb, Jonathan will be out of action for three to four months, forcing the Brazilian to miss the rest of the season for the Nerazzurri.
The successful intervention took place on Wednesday morning at the Instituto Clinico Humanitas hospital in Milan.
Jonathan’s injury-ravaged season has made him accumulate just two appearances in Serie A for the club, with his last coming back in September.
