Dynamo Kiev have rejected an offer from Inter to sign defender Domagoj Vida ahead of the transfer window shutting tonight.

The Croatia international joined Dynamo on a five-year deal in January 2013 from Dinamo Zagreb, and helped them end a five-year wait for a domestic trophy by scoring the decisive goal against Shakhtar Donetsk in the 2014 Ukrainian Cup final.

FcInterNews.it reports that the Ukrainian Premier League side has refused an offer of an initial loan with the right to buy the 25-year-old outright in the summer.

Instead, Dynamo would only be willing to accept an outright transfer.

Inter are now expected to try and bring Porto defender Rolando back to the club, but Juventus have also been linked with a move in this transfer window.

The Beneamata have already secured Lukas Podolski, Xherdan Shaqiri and Marcelo Brozovic, while Davide Santon is all-but set to return to the club today.
