Juventus are reportedly considering whether to make a move for Chelsea midfielder Oscar.

The Bianconeri are in search of a playmaker, and have been led to the name of Chelsea’s Brazil international.

Massimiliano Allegri’s side could look to test Chelsea’s resolve on a player who has significant competition in his role by submitting a €40 million bid, Tuttosport report.

However, potential snags in the deal include Jose Mourinho’s pursuit of Paul Pogba, who he may demand to be allowed to join the English Premier League side in return for letting one of his talents leave.

An alternative to Oscar has reportedly been identified, in the shape of Galatasaray’s Dutchman Wesley Sneijder.

The former Inter player was close to joining Juventus in the January transfer window, but saw a move cancelled.

23-year-old Oscar has six goals from 20 league appearances for Chelsea so far this season.
