Lazio goalkeeper Etrit Berisha is set to serve a 10-day disqualification after making a plea bargain for signing two contracts.

The Albania international has been at the centre of an ongoing argument since the summer of 2013 with Chievo claiming that he had already agreed to join them from Kalmar before signing for the Aquile.

“We have reached an agreement with the Federal Prosecutor’s Office for a disqualification of 10 days,” Lazio lawyer Gian Michele Gentile told LaLazioSiamoNoi.

“Now we have to wait for the decision of the Attorney General. The decision has been postponed to March 19.”

The 25-year-old asked for a 10-day ban as a plea bargain at an FIGC Tribunal hearing on Thursday that the authorities will evaluate and respond to on March 19.

Berisha has made seven appearances in Serie A and four in the Coppa Italia so far this season.
