On-loan Fiorentina defender Micah Richards has been linked with a summer move to back to England with West Ham United and Liverpool interested in his services.
The 26-year-old England international is currently on-loan at the Viola from Manchester City, but has failed to hold down a regular first team place under coach Vincenzo Montella. The Birmingham born defender’s contract is due to expire in the summer.
According to The Daily Mail, Richards will have numerous offers to resurrect his career in his homeland, with West Ham and Liverpool leading the race for his signature.
Richards made his first team debut for Manchester City as a 17-year-old in 2005 and has since made 178 appearances for The Sky Blues, scoring six goals in the process.
However, the former Oldham youth has made just two league appearances since Manuel Pellegrini took over at the Etihad in 2013.
