Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic is refusing to commit to signing a new contract with the club unless they qualify for next season’s Champions League.

The Slovenia international’s contract expires in the summer of 2016, and the concerned Nerazzurri have been seeking contract discussions, only to be snubbed by the player.

Handanovic is desperate to experience elite European action again, and may move elsewhere if his demands are not met, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 30-year-old has never played in the Champions League to date, only making appearances in the Europa League for both Inter and former club Udinese.

Reports continue to link the shot-stopper with a move to English Premier League side Manchester United, who themselves face contract issues with number one David De Gea.

Handanovic has made 90 Serie A starts for Inter since his €11 million move in 2012.
