Inter coach Roberto Mancini believes the Nerazzurri’s upcoming Europa League tie against Wolfsburg will be a real test for his players.
The 50-year-old will see his side come up against the Bundesliga outfit in the Round of 16, following their 1-0 victory Celtic on Thursday evening which secured a 4-3 aggregate win.
“We have been drawn against the second best team in Germany,” Mancini said through the club’s official Twitter account.
“This will be a tough match.
“Wolfsburg are a good side and they recently beat Bayern Munich 4-1.”
He concluded by further emphasising the size of the task at hand and admitted he had a soft spot for European matches.
“It will be tough, European knockout matches are always very difficult, but they are a beautiful occasion.
“We will be fully prepared.”
Mancini returned to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza club this season, following spells at Manchester City and Galatasaray since leaving Serie A in 2008.
