Samuel Eto'o SampdoriaSampdoria coach, Sinisa Mihajlovic, believes that Samuel Eto’o’s behaviour at training was disrespectful towards the club and his teammates.

Eto’o was signed from Everton in the winter transfer window to help the high flying Blucerchiati to a potential champions league position. The Cameroonian made his debut in the 5-1 defeat against Torino as a substitute, but due to their shambolic performance against the Granata, Mihajlovic scheduled a double workout for the team.

The former Everton striker refused to take part in the training session and walked out.

Speaking to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Mihajlovic said, “There was an argument with Eto’o but in order to fight you need two people but oddly he did everything himself.

“A training session was scheduled in the afternoon, but he just left. I wasn’t informed by him or given any explanation, which I believe is a massive lack of respect towards me and his teammates.

“I have no idea about what the club intends to do or what even he wants from this situation. This is the only truth regarding this, anything else you hear is pure made up fantasy.”

Sampdoria will be hoping to resolve the situation quickly but reports suggest that Eto’o could be terminating his contract.
