luigi Sepe empoliNapoli are reportedly looking to offload goalkeepers Rafael Cabral and Mariano Andujar in the summer, with Luigi Sepe set to be handed a new contract.

Rafael has made 31 appearances for the Partenopei this season but a series of high profile mistakes such as for Achraf Lazaar’s opener in the 3-1 defeat at Palermo seems to have convinced coach Rafa Benitez that he is not the right man.

Tuttosport reports that the former Santos player will be sold in the summer along with second-choice Mariano Andujar, who has only made four appearances in the Europa League and the Coppa Italia since joining from Catania last summer.

To replace Rafael and Andujar the Vesuviani will offer 23-year-old Luigi Sepe, who has conceded just 17 goals in 21 games on loan at Empoli this year, a new four-year contract.

Another option is reported to be the German youngster Loris Karius of Mainz, who has made 21 appearances in the Bundesliga so far this season, and could be the subject of a €6 million offer from Napoli, who face competition from Roma and AC Milan for his services.
