New Roma recruit Nicolas Spolli has said that he has not moved to the Giallorossi to be number four in the pecking order.
The Argentine sealed a €1.5 million loan move from Catania to the Giallorossi on Monday, and has reiterated that he has already spoken with sporting director Walter Sabatini about playing time.
“I believe we [Roma] can win Serie A,” he told Radio Radio. “I’ve already spoken with [Walter] Sabatini, I didn’t come here to be the fourth defender.”
The former Newell’s Old Boys defender has made 132 Serie A appearances for Catania, scoring six goals in the process.
