There seems to be no love lost between Inter coach Roberto Mancini and star forward Mauro Icardi.
Feelings between the pair have never been strong and the Italian deems a friendship with the Argentinian as unnecessary.
According to reports in Italian publication Tuttosport, if Mancini was in a stronger position he would have potentially relegated the 21-year-old to the Nerazzurri bench several times.
Indeed, there has been no further developments in the striker’s contract renewal with the club, with the Nerazzurri having had interest in new Milan recruit Mattia Destro.
The club has also met with the agent of Andre-Pierre Gignac and have a keen interest in Palermo’s Andrea Belotti.
