Parma sporting director Pietro Leonardi has been rushed to hospital for a second time due to poor health.

The 51-year-old Italian was hit with illness for the second time in a few weeks, as he was recently admitted to hospital on January 26 with what was diagnosed as a heart problem.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that it is likely Leonardi will remain in care for a few days as there remains a state of alert, although the report also says that the situation is currently under control after Leonardi underwent tests.

“Parma announces that today the general manager Pietro Leonardi was hospitalized again at the Nursing Home of Parma following a sudden illness.

“The director, who had already been hospitalized on January 26, is under observation and is undergoing treatment and investigations,” the Gialloblu’s official website said.
