The final of the Viareggio Tournament has been moved to Pisa due to pitch troubles at the planned venue.

The Stadio del Pini, located in the host city of Viareggio, was due to host the youth competition’s final, but the match will now be staged in Pisa at the Arena Garibaldi.

It will take place on Monday, February 16 at 3pm CET.

Currently at the quarter-finals stage, the likes of Roma, Inter, Napoli and Fiorentina’s under-19 sides are considered among the favourites to progress when the matches take place on Thursday afternoon.

This year’s tournament will not see record nine-time winners AC Milan seal a 10th title, with the holders knocked out in the group-stage and now vulnerable to the Viola equalling their tally — as they face Spezia in the quarter-finals.
