Fresh from their Africa Cup of Nations victory, Roma strikers Gervinho and Seydou Doumbia will be back training with club mates from Wednesday this week.

The two players took part in the Ivory Coast penalty shootout win over rivals Ghana last night and are set to return to the Italy on Tuesday.

Il Tempo reports that both forwards will then re-integrate themselves with their Giallorossi companions as coach Rudi Garcia prepares for the weekend match against bottom-side Parma.

Interestingly, the two only played together for the first time during the tournament victory in the final itself, as previously Ivory Coast coach Herve Renard had always used them separately on their way to cup success.

Doumbia netted during the spot kicks against Ghana, but Gervinho did not take part, having already been subbed earlier in the game.
