Rubin Kazan have sent a letter of intent to Inter, planning to sue the Nerazzurri over their terminating Yann M’Vila’s contract.

Yann M’Vila had moved on loan to Inter from the Russian club, but saw the Nerazzurri terminate his contract after the French midfielder failed to impress at the Giuseppe Meazza.

Gazzetta della Sport report of Rubin Kazan’s intent to sue Inter. The Russian club would be accusing Inter of depreciating the market value — by terminating his contract — of a player they still own.

According to the Italian newspaper, Inter would have a defence at the ready however. M’Vila had a deal to join Swansea before it collapsed last-minute on deadline day of the January transfer window, after which Inter moved to terminate his contract.

Yann M’Vila only made three Serie A appearances for Inter, and four in the Europa League.
