Sampdoria have completed the loan signing of Palermo defender Ezequiel Munoz on a deal until the end of the current season.
The 24-year-old had previously been on the verge of a move to AC Milan, however no move materialised and he has now opted to join the Blucerchiati instead.
The deal was confirmed in a short statement on Palermo’s official website and the Argentine will remain with the Genovese outfit until the end of the season.
The former Boca Juniors defender made nearly 150 appearances for the Rosanero over the course of his four and-a-half seasons, staying with the club even as they were relegated to Serie B.
