Sampdoria have completed the signing of on-loan Parma midfielder Afriyie Acquah, the club announced on their website.
The 23-year-old Ghanian international had been on loan at the Ducali for the past 18 months from Hoffenheim, but Sampdoria will now have the player for the next six months.
“U.C. Sampdoria announces that it has acquired on a temporary basis from Parma FC, the sporting rights of the player Afriyie Acquah,” a statement read on the official Sampdoria website.
“The midfielder – whose card is the property of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim – is currently in Equatorial Guinea with the Ghanaian national team and will made available to Sinisa Mihajlovic once the experience in the African Cup of Nations ends.”
