Brazilian club Santos have reportedly made two proposals to retain AC Milan forward Robinho.

Robinho returned to Brazil on loan at Santos, with the Rossoneri having shopped him around in order to alleviate their wage bill.

According to Brazilian media Lancenet, Santos want to either extend the Brazilian’s loan at the club — which ends on June 30 of this year — or buy him outright from AC Milan.

The player’s lawyer has also offered his opinion on the situation, expressing that Robinho wants to stay in Brazil.

“Finding an agreement between both clubs is what we’re looking for and it is possible,” Robinho’s lawyer said.

“Robinho, meanwhile, has said he wishes to stay at Santos.”

The 31-year-old Brazilian has played 23 games for Santos and scored nine goals.
