Juan Sanchez Mino has ended a disappointing seven month spell at Torino by returning home to join Argentine outfit Estudiantes.

The 25-year-old was signed last summer from Boca Juniors and was handed his fair share of opportunities, making 14 appearances across the league and the Europa League.

However, the club have opted to offload him after such a short spell with Estudiantes snapping him on an 18-month loan deal with the option to purchase him outright at the end of that time.

His relationship with coach Giampiero Ventura did seem to sour somewhat during a game with Sassuolo in late November as he took penalty kick taking duties from Fabio Quagliarella and missed from the spot.

An angry Ventura substituted him at half time and Toro would go on to lose 1-0 with a late Neroverdi goal. He featured only once more after that, coming on as an injury time change as the Granata looked to kill time in the derby against Juventus.
