Filippo Inzaghi’s future at AC Milan looks uncertain as the club struggles in Serie A, sitting in mid-table.

The AC Milan coach has been under fire after a dismal start to 2015, winning just one Serie A match so far and leaving the club marooned in 10th, following their home draw against Chievo Verona last Saturday.

The situation at AC Milan has turned so bitter that president Silvio Berlusconi even skipped his usual Friday visit to the training ground, despite it having been his 29th anniversary of the club’s purchase.

Sportsmediaset reports that the club management would be closely monitoring the upcoming match against Hellas Verona, with a negative result possibly meaning an end to Inzaghi’s tenure.

In that eventuality, assistant coach Mauro Tassotti would reportedly be put in charge as caretaker coach for the rest of the season.
