Napoli have been drawn against German side Wolfsburg in the quarter finals of the Europa League and head coach of the Partenopei Rafael Benitez has admitted that it is going to be an extremely difficult tie.

In response to the tough draw, the Spanish tactician has stated that they will face a team that are considered favourites in the competition and has also referred to their previous victory over Inter in the last round when they achieved victory in both legs.

“We will have to face one of the strongest teams that are left in the tournament,” said Benitez when speaking to journalists immediately after the draw in Switzerland.

“They are one of the favourites to win the competition and we saw in their two matches against Inter that they are a very strong side.

“They are second in the Bundesliga and have also beaten Bayern Munich.”

Benitez then continued: “We know that we face a very difficult challenge. But we have confidence in ourselves and we have the desire to progress even if we know it will be difficult.”

The first fixture between the two sides will be played at the Volkswagen Arena on April 16.
