Bayer Leverkusen man Giulio Donati knows a thing or two about both Inter and Wolfsburg and he believes there is nothing between the two sides.
The 25-year-old came through the youth system at the Nerazzurri but after five years at the club in which he failed to make a single appearance, he left for the Bundesliga and Bayer in 2013.
He spoke to Tuttosport about the upcoming Europa League tie between his old side and Wolfsburg who has become familiar with during his time in Germany: “In cup matches, they can often be rather close and cagey.
“There is never a real encouragement on you [to repeatedly attack] especially when you get through to this point of the competition. I hope that Inter can playa great match and go through but they will find a very good team in front of them.”
The defender added: “So far this year they have lost only once and have succeeded not only in beating Bayern Munich, but doing so by four goals!”
Wolfsburg welcome Inter for the first leg this Thursday.
