Roma coach Rudi Garcia is set to make several changes to his starting line-up for Thursday’s Europa League tie with Fiorentina.

The Giallorossi’s 0-0 draw away to struggling Chievo was the culmination of a desperate run of form for 2013/14’s Serie A runners-up, with large numbers of fans angered by a lack of attacking invention during a spell where the Lupi have won just twice in 11 league matches.

That has forced the French coach’s hand, according to CalcioNews24, who made it clear at the club’s Trigoria training ground that no player’s place is guaranteed for Thursday’s trip to Florence.

It is expected that Lukas Skorupski, Roma’s preferred cup competition goalkeeper, will start behind a back-four containing the returning Vasilis Torosidis and Jose Holebas.

Daniele De Rossi will likely return to the midfield in a 4-2-3-1 formation, alongside Seydou Keita – who keeps his place with Bosnian play-maker Miralem Pjanic.

Juan Iturbe and Daniele Verde are then considered likely to start behind forward Seydou Doumbia as the stuttering Romans hope to continue their league-form relief with another good display in European competition.
