Genoa have reportedly signed struggling Galatasaray striker Goran Pandev to a two-year deal that will go into effect this summer.

The 31-year-old, whose current contract with the Turkish giants will expire in June, has failed to make an impact in the Gala squad this season and had been linked with a move away from the club since the winter, with the Grifone now apparently set to land him in the coming months.

According to SportMediaset, the Macedonian met with Genoa president Enrico Preziosi in Italy on Friday to sign a deal that will see him remain at the Rossoblu for two years and earn a salary of around €1 million per season.

Reports also suggest that the former Napoli man could be given the option to sign on for a third season with the Genoese side depending on his performances.

Pandev has made just two Super Lig appearances for Galatasaray this term thus far.
