Andrea D’Amico, agent of Toronto FC forward Sebastian Giovinco, has revealed that his client is enjoying his time in the MLS since his arrival at the Canadian club from Juventus in January.
The 28-year-old has already provided his first assist in his two league appearances thus far and his agent believes that this experience will turn out to be a great one for the Italian, stating that the future of football lies in North America.
D’Amico spoke to Radio 24 about Giovinco’s new adventure at Toronto FC and commented on Major League Soccer’s potential to evolve into one of the biggest football leagues in the world.
“Giovinco is doing fine at Toronto FC, this new experience will give him a lot of satisfaction,” said the agent.
“He made a great choice by joining this team. I think that North America will be the future of football, they have the money, the structures and the right ideas.”
