Lazio’s young defensive midfielder Ogenyi Onazi is rumored to be attracting transfer interest from outside Italy with Liverpool and West Ham the front runners.
The 22-year Nigerian international and product of Lazio’s primavera is currently part of a squad full of midfield options with, Lucas Biglia, Marco Parolo, Senad Lulic, Cristian Ledesma, Danilo Cataldi and Stefano Mauri all competing with Onazi’s for those starting spots.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Onazi’s future, if it is to be away from the Stadio Olimpico looks likey to be in the Premier League with Liverpool and West Ham the interested parties. Onazi’s contract with Lazio dosnt run out until 2018 so if either side is serious about their interest, money will have to be made available to tempt the Biancocelesti into the sale.
Onazi has played 13 times for the Rome based club, with one assist to his name.
