Lazio have managed to tie down their rising star Felipe Anderson on a new long-term deal that will see the Brazilian remain in the Italian capital until 2020.
The 21-year-old has been a revelation for Stefano Pioli’s side this season and quickly established himself as one of the hottest properties around Europe with the Biancocelesti recently having slapped a €40 million price tag on the talented attacker.
A short statement was issued on Saturday on Lazio’s official website to announce the deal.
“SS Lazio announces that the player Felipe Anderson has extended his contract.”
Although the length of the deal was not announced on the club’s statement, Tuttomercatoweb revealed that it was until 2020.
The Brazilian also took to Twitter to reveal his joy at his new deal.
“I am so happy with the renewal. Forza Lazio. Everyone at the stadium tomorrow.”
