Premier League giants Manchester City will make a move for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba in a bid to improve their Champions League prospects.

The 22 year old Frenchman remains at the top of City’s shopping list, despite a hamstring injury potentially ruling him out for the rest of this season.

British tabloid The Sun reports that City chief Sheikh Mansour is ready to dish out a colossal €138 million for Juventus ace Pogba and Liverpool wonder-kid Raheem Sterling.

It is also thought that the Premier League champions are planning a €280 million transfer spending spree in the summer in a bid to improve their Champions League prospects.

The massive funds would be used to acquire Chelsea’s Kevin de Bruyne, Liverpool’s Raheem Sterling, Juventus’s Pogba, Everton’s Ross Barkley, Atletico Madrid’s Koke and Monaco’s Layvin Kurzawa.

Pogba since arriving in Turin in 2012 has blossomed and has been attracting the attention of some of the biggest clubs in the world including the likes of PSG and Manchester United.
