Wolfsburg are not a one man team who rely on the goals of Bas Dost according to Roberto Mancini, admitting that Dieter Hecking’s side have very few weaknesses.

Inter will face the high-flying Germans in the first leg of their Round of 16 UEFA Europa League tie on Thursday evening and although Mancini is aware of the threat posed by Dost, who has 13 goals in 2015, the former Manchester City boss assured that the entire Wolfsburg team is very strong.

“Wolfsburg are not only Dost, they are a very good side who sit second in the Bundesliga,” Mancini stated at a press conference on Wednesday afternoon.

“Dost is having an excellent spell and scoring many goals, but the whole team is very strong.

“Wolfsburg are a complete side, they do not have many weaknesses, they are not second in the table by chance.

“It will not be an easy game, we must be perfect over the two legs to progress.

“We are experienced, we are used to playing games at this level.

“We are looking to break into our stride at the moment, there is improvement but it will take time.”

Mancini concluded his words by assuring that his side will battle for the Serie A title in the coming 2015/2016 season.

“We will fight for the title next season, right now we will do our best to go through, but the game will be tough,” he said.
