Napoli are reportedly set to revamp their current midfield ahead of next season which will consequently lead to the departures of both Gokhan Inler and Walter Gargano.
There is an air of uncertainty surrounding the club at the moment due to speculation regarding head coach Rafael Benitez’s future and now these two players have joined the growing list that seem to be on their way out of at the end of season.
Italian newspaper Gazzetta Dello Sport have reported that in an attempt to avoid stagnation, Napoli are intent on a complete overhaul ahead of the upcoming season and that Inler and Gargano will be two of the first casualties.
Both players have been at the Azzurri for a number of years and have each made over 100 appearances for the Partenopei.
If these players are to leave then it is possible that the Partenopei will look to Empoli midfielder Marko Valdifiori as a potential replacement.
