Parma’s game with Atalanta is set to go ahead on Sunday afternoon at the Stadio Ennio Tardini.

The cash-strapped Ducali have had their last two fixtures postponed with uncertainty surrounding the club’s future in not only the Serie A, but all the Italian leagues.

However, Sky Sport Italia report that a ‘Yes’ verdict came out of a meeting between players, officials and the Italian Footballers’ Association.

With debts totalling around €200 million, Parma have been struggling to keep themselves going on a day to day basis, but this agreement, which has not yet been formally agreed, means that they will be able to return to action for the first time since a 0-0 draw with Roma on February 15.

Currently bottom of Serie A and 13points from safety, the Ducali have had to source independent contractors to fulfil a number of the roles to ensure the game on Sunday can go ahead.
